REMADYL took part at the online EASME Workshop “Innovative methods to remove hazardous substances and contaminants from secondary raw materials for the circular economy”
On 29 January REMADYL took part at the online Workshop “Innovative methods to remove hazardous substances and contaminants from secondary raw materials for the circular economy” organised by EASME B2.1 “Eco-innovation” sector.
The event focussed on seven H2020 projects, monitored by EASME B2.1, dedicated to exploring innovative technologies addressing the interface between waste, products and chemicals: CIRCULAR FLOORING, CREAToR, PLAST2bCLEANED, NONTOX, REMADYL, REACT, PureNano.
The objectives of this workshop were threefold:
- Present the main achievements to date and raise awareness about the projects among policy -makers;
- Discuss relevant activities and their contribution to policy developments in the area of circular economy, chemicals, products, plastics and ‘end-of-waste’ criteria; and
- Identify concrete collaboration opportunities among projects, strengthen synergies and optimise impacts.
Around 160 participants gathered online, including projects’ coordinators, key Work Package leaders, representatives of other on-going H2020 projects as well as representatives of Policy Directorate Generals (DGs) and Executive Agencies of the European Commission.
